I (and LOTS of other folks) also had lots of crashes with version 4.51. It
was not a very stable product.  I downloaded version 4.6 and haven't had a
problem since.  One word of caution.  Do NOT use the smart update!  A number
of members have said that they were able to successfully use the smart
update feature, but more said that it crashed and/or made a mess.

Get a full and complete download.
