David,
Negative on the Policy Editor. I am the sole user on the system and I
don't know how to start the policy editor. The only thing I can think of is
downloading a program from windows magazine that was supposed to allow you
to start IE5 in full screen, but that was for IE5 alone and the problem I
have occurs in both IE5 and windows explorer... AND!!!....I just
checked....it also occurs if you click on "My Computer".

I have used win98 since it first came out and have never seen anything like
this before....

If I want to add a folder under my C:\, I must drop to DOS and use MKDIR.

Surely I,m not the only one this has happened to????
