Jim,

This just happened to me a few days ago.  Look in windows\system.  You
should find MAPI32.DLL and MAPI32.BAK.  Rename, delete or move
MAPI32.DLL.  Rename MAPI32.BAK to MAPI32.DLL.  Outlook should work now.
