At my office we receive PDF files as attachments in e-mails from various companies.  Up until recently, we were able to download them,  open them, print them etc.  Now, when we try to open the files, a message comes up that says the files are damaged and unable to be opened.   However, these same files can be opened on computers running ME.  The office computers are all XP home edition and have SP2.
Can someone tell me how we can get these files to open on the XP machines?  We've tried turning off the firewall, antivirus etc. programs, to no avail...& yes, we know that was dangerous.  We've also tried lowering the security settings also to no avail.  Can someone please help?
