Subject: [PCSOFT] Defrag in WinME

> I've heard "never defrag WinME unless you in a safe mode" & "never ever defrag WinME in any mode" without
suffering serious consequences, leading to refomatting your hard drive. Pro & Con comments. Thanks, Bill

I use WinME and I don't bother to run defrag in safe mode. As such, it does restart a few times but it always
manages to finish without incident. I've had no known serious problems from running it this way. However, if
others are saying problems arise, then safe mode is probably a wise precaution.
