I've been using windows 95 4.00.950 B for about 5 years.  I have had good luck with it.  Recently I lost all icons associated with shortcuts.  The shortcuts are still there and operating, but in place of the icon is a square white patch.  This problem impacted all existing shortcut icons and newly created shortcut icons.  I cannot establish icons for shortcuts anywhere (desktop and all directories, harddisks, floppies etc.).  Has anyone ever experienced this? any ideas?
