If it won't start, but it shows it's running in Task Manager, then you need
to "kill" the instance in Task Manager. In other words, stop the process
from running (Highlight Firefox.exe then hit the End Process). Then you
should be able to restart Firefox once again.
This happens occasionally, most often if you close out Firefox before a page
with Java (NOT javascript) loaded completely.
