Hello all!

I have a client who is attempting to move his Firefox settings from an older
desktop to a new laptop. Both are connected to the network and both have
WindowsXP Pro with SP2 installed. Going through the help file (the Import
feature from File/Import flat out didn't work - it didn't even list
Netscape, Mozilla as a possible source), it seems that there is a folder in
the format ha7ov9vjd.default which has all the information (it lives in
Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.
That folder was moved to the laptop, and the profiles.ini file was changed
to reflect the new folder path. However, the client keeps getting the
message: You cannot open this folder as it is already in use (or something
close to that wording).

Would anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your time and thought on this.
