My computer has suddenly become virtually unusable due to boot-up error messages such as:

1. Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll at 0137:bff9a29c.
2. Explorer caused an exception in module wininet.dll.
3. Regsvr32 caused and exception c0000006h in module wininet.dll.

I've unloaded all my start up programs but nothing seems to help. I first noticed problems with Internet Explorer 3.02. The only change I've made to my system is the SR2 Office97 update. I've re-installed IE3.02 and the only warning message is that I have newer program files on my computer than in the install program and not to change them. Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
