Hi Dave,
In the file menu of both IE and OE there is an option to Import and Export.
Use these to save and reinstate you files. Works like a charm. I have used
this several time with out a hitch. You can save to a different partition or
a floppy or a zip or whatever.

I'm looking for some help in backing up my address book and favorites list
before I reformat my hard drive. I have Outlook Express 5.5 and Internet
Explorer 5.5.
I have a 6.4 G hard drive broken down into 3 separate 2 gig hard drives. I
think I can just copy these file from my C: drive over to either the D: or
E: drive and then copy them back over after reformatting and reloading the
OS. My problem is I don't know the file names I;m looking for or where they
are located. All help is appreciated.
TIA
Dave Schroeder
