I haven't had a AOL account since before the Web existed. My customer
wants to install it on her PC and I want to know what I will be dealing
with. Is it intrusive to Win 98. How big a directory does it create and
does it grow. My customer doesn't have a lot of space and I don't want
something growing up to 100 megs.
Win 98 and IE 4 is already installed with Eudora as a Email client
.....will AOL try to change all this ....or does it just accept it. Does
it just create itself a DUN account or does it change network settings ?
Will it peacefully co exist with other DUN accounts ? Do I need to create
the account by running one of those trial CDs or can it be done on line ?
Do you still log on to AOL and then access the NET.....in other words is
it still a front end for the Net or do you log on like a regular ISP and
then log on to AOL special features ?
I appreciate the help and advice !
