I suspect this is a PCBuild question.
I have the same setup,with a cable modem and router and all I had to do was
add NetBeui as a protocol on the 98 machines.
It sounds as though you have everything else covered.

I have 3 computers, 1 XP Home, and 2 98SE. I can get the 2 98 machines to
see
each other and the XP box. However, I cnnnot get the XP box to see the other
2 machines.

What information do y'all need, and/or where can I go to get the answers (or
at least some guidelines)?
