Ed,
Unless there is a problem with your floppy drive, there is no reason to
copy all the files to a hard disk.
Once you have windows installed, all you need to do is insert the first
Word floppy into the disk drive and then click START -RUN and type in
A:\SETUP and press ENTER.
Using the decompressor program is the wrong thing to do. It will
uncompress the file (as you guessed), but it will not INSTALL the
application. You need to use SETUP to do the installation.
