The mail and address book are both in the System Disc, (usually C), Document and Settings, (Your user name), Application Data, Mozilla, Profiles, default, (Some random letters and numbers). The mail will be in the Mail folder, and the address book is the file "abook.mab" You can restore this folder(Mozilla) before you reinstall mozilla and all your addresses, mail and settings will be on the new machine. Subject: [PCSOFT] Where do Outlook Express and Mozilla store their Inbox and
Address Book files?
Does anyone know where Outlook Express and Mozilla store their Inbox and
Address Book files and what they are named?
I recently upgraded to a new motherboard and hard drives and reinstalled
everything from scratch -- Windows XP Pro plus most of the usual
applications.
I had saved a backup image on an external hard drive, and a clone on
another internal hard drive, and would like to recover my address book
names and recent emails. I just can't find them.
Any ideas.
