Yeah. Try renaming them and replace the .art extension with .jpg. If you
have a lot, Irfan should do them all at once if you open one, then click
File/Batch conversion, then click the circle at the bottom which says Batch
Rename. If Irfan opens them OK in their present format, there may be no
point in renaming them. They are probably .jpg files anyway. If so, Irfan
will see them as such, no matter what you or your browser choose to call
them. You just get that annoying little message that they aren't what they
seem.
You should be able to set your browser to download in the original format
(invariably .jpg) unless your browser has been hijacked as John suggests.
In any event, IE is not an efficient image viewer, so you really need Irfan
or similar in any case.
