Hi Bob,
I guess you are not using AVG but AnitVir by H+BEDV as this program has its
virus search window called Luke Filewalker. The tennis racket (or whatever
it may actually be) is grayed out when you did not select anything to be
searched in the window below. So just mark your hard drive(s) and it will
be ready to be used.
