Hi Linda

As a general rule, it is quite safe to delete all files and folders from
the \windows\temp and \windows\temporary internet files directories. When
you use the delete command, Windows will allow you to delete all files
except those "unsafe" to delete. So, no problemo -- leave the undelete-able
files there -- these will not take up much space anyway.

Better not delete the \windows\temp directory, though.

Incidentally, as a routine, I delete *all* files or folders whose names
start with a "~", whichever directory they are in (usually in the root
directory, or in the MS-DOS or Windows directories). Also, all files whose
extensions are .tmp or .~??.

Cheers.
