I ALWAYS delete anything that even resembles some stating that there is a
"Patch" or virus alert in an email. I REALLY have to know the source before
I'll even get to the point of investigating.

"Use this patch immediately" appears as a "hoax" or "scam".   If you get
into this practice  you will avoid a lot of traps that get emailed to
virtually everyone on the web.
