Hi.  I have several drives and when I try to defragment them, d-f works
fine.  But my C drive says : it is "locked by disk utility" or it just ry
and stays at "0".

I have a Dell Dimension XPS D333

I have Norton Virus protection.

I do a right click on my desk top and then on properties and move my
screen saver to "none" which it does - although after awhile the screen
saver kicks on automatically ???


When I do control-alt-delete, I see

What would help me complete a C drive defragmentation?  When it wasn't
stopping because of the "locked by disk utility", it just keeps trying but
staying at 0.

PS, I sometimes have my e-mail open when I am trying this but it didn't
seem to work whether I did or didn't.
