I downloaded the beta directly from MS. I didn't configure it; it seemed
ready to go.

This box appears when the program finds a threat, and there have been only
these 2 threats each time. The Kaazaa is recognized but it suggests I
ignore rather than delete. The second threat is recognized as trying to
change my internet browser. The msg said that either home page is changed,
changes made to the browser itself, etc. The suppposed hijacker is
http://us8hpwis.com/ (tried this address and got a "this page cannot be
displayed". The really strange thing is the choice I'm given: to default
to Microsoft's home page. My home page has always been Comcast.

Another cosmic mystery?
