Obvously from the specs, this is a fairly new machine. I have a friend that
just resolved a similiar issue on a machine less that 4 months old. His
machine would reboot with symptoms similiar to yours. He (thought) he had
isolated it to the video card, and reseating the card worked for awhile,
then the problem returned. It turns out his monitor has a replaceable cable
(not the power cable, but the data cable). He replaced the cable and the
problem has not returned for several days.
In your case, you might try another monitor if yours' does not have a
replaceable data cable.

|This machine was donated to me about a year ago, since then I have replaced
|everything but the 3.5 floppy drive. The case and power supply is about
1-1/2
|months old and came as a set. I don't know what the rating is, but would
be
|happy to check if it is important. It seems like this problem happens most
|anytime, but more noticeable when multi-tasking or in the middle of loading
a
|program, web site or booting up. I especially notice it when in the middle
of a
|letter, the other night I had to write the same letter 6 times....
