Anne,

I wondered this myself, and afer searching through Symantec's and M$
knowlege bases, I'v come to the conclusion that if you are not having a
problem with your machine rebooting on it's own, you don't have the virus in
your system. There is a relatively easy to understand article here,
http://www.techtv.com/news/securityalert/story/0,24195,3498394,00.html . It
also gives links to all the pertinent information on how to tell wether you
have it and how to get rid of it.

Personally I got into the habit of visiting the Windows Update site every
couple of days and follow it up with running Norton Live Update upon
fininshin up with M$. It sounds to me as though you have kept your updates
in check, and if your were able to send your post here, your system is just
fine!

HTH

Can someone please tell me which files to access to see if the blaster virus
is in my software? Do I open My Documents and check my files?
