The standard application to use for this is WinZip, which can be
downloaded from the web -- I think www.winzip.com.
However, some versions of Windows come with it already installed, and I
think XP treats WinZip files like a special kind of folder -- so you may
already have everything you need.
Save the .zip file from your email program first. Then navigate to it
with Windows Explorer and try to open it. If Windows asks what program you
want to use, cancel and go get WinZip. If WinZip comes up, tell it to
extract all of the content files to a regular folder. And if Explorer just
shows you the files inside the .zip, you can move/copy/etc from there.
