I have a Hp 8745c with windows me installed.I also have mcafee virus scan installed Pen 3 processer 800 ,191 ram. When I first got computer everything worked fine.Now when I try to do  scan disk, it will freeze up about 80% of the time.I have END IT ALL installed and use it when I can.However if I have to do a hard boot and scan disk comes up ,it will freeze.
 The only way I can run Scan Disk is in Safe Mode, which can be a real pain sometimes.
