1) Open your NotePad from the start|programs menu.

2) Open from your a: drive the file Config.sys or Autoexec.bat.

3) They are both text files and can be edited and saved from there.

     (Note: Several years ago there was a lot of flack about not using
interpreters, but using compilers. Yet, DOS and Windows are both
interpreted.)
