Recently while performing an online virus check @ housecall.antivirus.com
one was found in a folder named 49yjewvbbv (or some such crap) located in
my Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5 folder. I immediately deleted
suspect file without checking what type of infection it was or taking note
of the virus name. Among the cached web pages found with infected file was
an order form for a recently placed order. It had my CC#, billing address,
etc. For all I know, the "dirty" file could have circumvented ZoneAlarm
and passed this cached data onto parties unknown.

My browser preference is Opera (although I sometimes need to resort to IE6
for some sites, notably banks and the like). However, I've found that
clearing the Temporary Internet Files cache from within either browser DOES
NOT delete everything (for instance the hidden Content.IE5 folder and its
files & sub-directories remains untouched). Are there any registry edits
or apps available that would al least unhide this directories and or delete
all contents (yes, even that index.dat file if neccessary)? TIA.

BTW, I would advise everyone to go thru the afore-mentioned folders and see
what you find. You may be unpleasantly surpirsed.
