I'm participating in the Win98 consumer beta preview program. It is not
available in retail stores and I do not when it will be, I guess fourth
quarter. I'm running it on a 486 DX2, so no you do not have to update
hardware. I have not finished testing all my software under Win98, but I
can say the graphics look better.
