Greetings all,

 I have been using Spybot S&D for a few years now but have kept
resident protection
disabled thinking it was slowing my already painfully slow dial-up net
connection
(38 to 48k). After a recent re-format I've left resident on and
immediately upon internet connection I get these two screens:

Category:   Session manager
Change:     Value added
Entry:        BootExecute	
New Data:  auto check autochk *

I select:Deny change

Category:   Session manager
Change:     Value added
Entry:        ExcludeFromKnownDlls

I select:Deny change

Before I tell it to remember my selection, could you tell me what this
is referring to and if It's alright to allow it? Could a virus or
other such nasty use this in some way?
