My work pc has been upgraded from Windows NT and Corel Office to Windows 98
and Office 97. It has Excel 97 SR-2. I first tried to load my Quattro
spreadsheets into Excel and they looked like garbage. Nothing readable. I
then went into Quattro and saved them as Excel spreadsheets. It said it
could not convert formulas, only values. I told it to continue.
Now, I am having trouble formatting columns. I click on the column heading,
A, and then right click it, click on Format Cells and nothing happens. The
window just disappears. This only seems to happen on a column I had
formatted as a date field. The other cells in the sheet can be formatted
using the same sequence of keys.
I want it to show mm/dd/yy. What it shows is 10/11/1999 12:00:00 AM, Does
anyone have a solution?
