Maybe it requires too much "fine tuning" to do this on a list...
I have eight different rules I use that sort all my mail. I keep it fairly simple.
I found one line in OutLook98 "Help" that might explain why your rules fail.
"A rule is not applied to a message if any one of the exceptions you
specify is met." The only trouble is, I can't see why your rules fail
for PCSOFT and PCBUILD...
The following are much simpler "rules" I use from Outlook Express5/Win95b.
The rules and "operands" (they are Boolean searches, right?) are
much more complex in OutLook 98. (I have both, and looked.)
I construct my "rules" by hand after looking at the "header information"
of the messages I want to filter. That Wizard thing in OutLook98 is
over-kill for hiding what you are doing. (IMHO.)
The following are based on their simplicity. No negatives, or exceptions.
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the To line contains [log in to unmask]
Move it to the PCSOFT folder
and Stop processing more rules

Those rules work because the list(s) seem to BCC: the members.
This was not much help, I know, but it could be a start...
