Hi

I have Windows ME. I’m trying to set an active desktop item on my desktop. I
go into active desktop -> customize my desktop. I hit new and add the
address. Then it starts synchronizing. Up till then everything is fine, but
when it finishes the desktop flickers a couple of times and the item never
shows up on the desktop. If I go back into the customizing the desktop
window it shows the item checked as if it was active.

I also tried adding a picture file from my HD and it doesn’t work either. I
did the same thing on another PC and it works fine. I’d appreciate if anyone
has any ideas to what I can do.
