Easter eggs are hidden inside almost all MS applications. Each
program has it's own special keyboard and mouse-click combination
that accesses the easter egg.
Yes they take up a good deal of space on the hard drive, how much is
hard to say. I guess it depends on the complexity of the graphics
used by the egg.
Unfortunately they can not be removed. I seriously doubt that
Microsoft has told their programmers to build games inside of
application software. Therefore these eggs must be hidden from
prying eyes.
I also believe that all this unnecessary hidden code is a big reason
why MS software is so buggy. If not a direct cause, then the
programmers are busy writing games instead of debugging and testing
the actual application. It's no wonder MS can't meet delivery dates
for their products! (Hey Bill, are ya listening in????)
