Harvey, just copy the Windows/desktop folder to another location on your
computer. Put it in a folder with a description you can associate with it.
Any time the desktop is changed, simply copy Windows/desktop folder to it
and it will be overwritten with the updated one.

Is there a way to save the appearance(content) of the Windows
Desktop so that you can restore it if you inadvertently change it ?
