I've recently acquired a Dell computer which came equipped with
Windows ME. The WINDOWS/TEMP directory has over 56 megs of files in
it. Is it okay to delete all the files in that directory? If not,
is there any way to tell which files can be safely deleted?

Hi Loy,

I checked my Dell and I had two tiny antiviral temp files in the Windows
Temp directory. I'm sure this is because I run a program called TempClean.
This program can be found at >http://alvilim.virtualave.net/tempclean.html<
and can be tried for 30 days before paying for it. I have found it worth
every penny. I configure it to empty the Windows Temp files on boot up along
with recent documents, internet cache, internet history and you can even do
the cookies but I prefer to clean those out with another program I run so I
don't delete the ones I need, like my bank.

Hope this helps.

Joan
