Hi All,
I am using Outlook Express with IE 4.01, first with Windows 95B OSR2
SP1, now with Windows 98. The width of the typed text resulting from the
automatic word wrap has always been excessive, as witnessed by the fact that
the received messages are not displayed on the monitor exactly as they were
typed.
On the receiving end, the display shows about 3/4 of Line 1, then wraps
the next couple of words to form Line 2 of the received message, followed by
3/4 of Line 2 and a wrap of the next couple of words to form Line 4, etc.
This pattern is repeated so that the received message is quite jagged in
appearance.
I could see no obvious means for shortening the number of characters per
line to avoid the aforementioned nonsense. Of course you could manually
adjust the size of each line of text and use a hard return, but you would
need a positive visual guide for that. Does anyone know how to reduce the
line width without having to hit Enter at the end of each line?
