Lynn,

I had the same problem recently and I eliminated it by using the two
programs below.

Start Page Guard which will alert you when some one is trying to change
your start page. You have settings that will allow it to reset your start
page to your original page. It is a terrific Free program, available from

Another one that I also use is Hijack This. Available from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip. Also free.

Good luck.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Home Page

Lately I'm having a devil of a time keeping my home page from being
changed
to either Amazon or Page2start.com (I think that's what it's called). I'm
slowly removing spyware and adware from my computer. I'm trying to always
go
to my home page before exiting the internet then going to file-->exit. It
works for a while then I'm back to having it hijacked. Any ideas?

Gateway 3100
Pentium 4 256 MB ram
IE 6 using Road Runner

Thanks,
Lynn Kucera
