If it works with XP home, it will work with Pro.  I feel this is more Dell
issue than M$.  XP Pro is million times better than Home, but since you have
a Dell PC, there might be none standard thing inside, that those "brand
names" want to force you stay with them.  Sorry that I can't help anymore, I
don't want nothing to do with any "brand name" PC.
