I just recently purchased Lotus Organizer 5.0 and find when I exit the
program it crashes to the blue screen with "Fatal Exception 0E .... in vxd
vopl3sa(01). I can recover from this crash which is followed by an error
dialog box stating "Org5 caused an invalid page fault in kernel32.dll".
After this I can run Organizer again but without sounds! If I elect to "Mute
Organizer Sounds" in the Organizer Preferences then I don't experience these
crashes. I believe the file vopl3sa.vxd stored in C:\Windows\System is
associated with my Yamaha OPL3-SAx Sound System controller. I tried deleting
this from Device Manager and let windows redetect it but it didn't help.
The system is a Toshiba 490XCDT laptop with 64 megs ram running Win95
4.00.950 B. I haven't experienced any other sound problems.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thank you,
Joe Trimarchi
