My original question
>How does a web browser 'remember', between sessions,
>which links have been visited and which unvisited
>(thereby setting the appropriate colour)

Paul Roeth suggested that
"links or web pages are stored in Program Files/History"

I think Paul means Windows/history - but even then this
just seems to contains a list of urls visited over
the last few weeks so I don't think this is the answer.

Any other suggestions ?
