Hello Paul!

LILO is a program to switch from many systems (in you problem
its Windows95 and Linux). You must to configure LILO after
you install Linux onto Windows95. This program automatically
search your DOS system and you may set priority (what system
shout run by default). If LILO can't run windows you must reconfigure
it. If you can't run Windows in both times you should choose between
two systems in case you version of Windows can't run with you
version of LILO (or Linux). I don't know for what you run fdisk
such often... You must to run it before installation of Linux to
add new Linux partitions (and saving you windows partition). You may
probabrly have make horror error while you run fdisk first. If
you deleted all windows FAT32 partitions you haven't windows
in your HDD. You must now to run you PC from a DOS boot disk
and use MS fdisk from boot diskette. Alas you lost all Linux data
after installing Windows. And after all you should to remove old
linux partitions.

regards,
Alex.
