Did it started after you installed some adsware program? (without regard
to the fact that the crashes may apparently not be related to running the
adsware).
I'm using Netscape quite a lot, and started to suffer crashes, in
Netscape. The crashes stopped since I removed Radiate's advert.dll
which is part of the installation of many adsware programs. It attaches
itself to either Netscape or Internet explorer, and in too many cases it
causes them to crash whenever they are openned and there is a
connection to the Internet.
Radiate's software got a very bad reputation because of rumors that it is
a spyware. I personally don't think that it is a spyware (many security
experts and hackers checked it and found nothing).
But it also happens that it is responsible to many crashing problems
when people using browsers.
