Subject: [PCSOFT] mprexe.exe
Can anyone explain the "mprexe.exe" executable? When my system is getting
ready to be needing a reboot or is about to freeze, it seems that mprexe is
the culprit. It has something, I believe, to do with multiple protocols
running at the same time...IP, Novell, etc. etc.

Marshall,
Users of Windows 98 who are currently connected to Novell networks may
receive the following error message when attempting to use the Open and
SaveAs dialogs in Open Plan:
"MPREXE.EXE caused an invalid page fault in KERNEL32.DLL."
After this error occurs, Windows 98 may become very unstable, and must be
restarted. It may not be possible to restart normally - it may be necessary
to turn off the computer.
Microsoft has a dll file to fix this problem, but it may only be obtained
from Microsoft Technical Support. More information about this problem is
available from Microsoft in Knowledge Base article Q192249.
