Hi,
I made the mistake of installing Cacheman and PC Accelerator and letting
them do their thing with cache settings and now my system had ground to
slow speed with even text characters taking seconds to appear on screen
after typing. I guess if someone totally understands how the cache works,
these programs may help some, but for me, I have learned my lesson.
Currently I have removed PC Accelerator and want to uninstall Cacheman
also. Every time I check system/performance the "let windows" handle
virtual memory is checked, but I get the feeling Cacheman or PC ACC is
still messing with my system.

My question: If I uninstall all remnants of these two programs, will
Win98se resume/go back to original settings? Right now I am almost to the
point of reformatting :( (win98se, Athlon 600, 390 megs ram, 7200 rpm HD)
Thanks in advance for any insight,
Tom Sykora
