Hello:
I appreciate all that this list does. I've learned so much. Here's a
problem I've had recently and I hope that someone will help me solve the
issue.
Until recently, on Internet Explorer, I have been able to view the
address I'm intending to find, along with the bar that shows the
progress in finding the address. In the past, this has always been
above the "Start" and taskbar. This "line" has now disappeared and no
longer shows any information when a site is loading.
I have Windows XP, Media Center Edition, SP2 on a Toshiba Satellite
laptop.
Thanks in advance for any help in recovering this info.

If you are using IE Version 7, click on the "Tools" arrow then on the
"Toolbars" item. Select and/or deselect the toolbars that you want. I
think that you are referring to the "Status" bar which somehow has been
unchecked. (If you are not using version 7, I suggest that you do so.)
