Did you check under VirusScan as well as McAfee in Add/Remove programs? If
you did, and there was definitely no listing, there are detailed
instructions on manually uninstalling VirusScan at the McAfee retail
support site at:
http://www.mcafeehelp.com/
Just select the product then select Install/Uninstall under category. Has
instructions for manually uninstalling VirusScan 5.1, 5.0x, 4.x, 3.x.
However, the instructions involve editing the registry, and so are not
exactly simple, as you originally requested.
