I use a program called "Split Files Shell
Extension" It is freeware which can be downloaded from
http://www.essi.fr/~berger/Windows/split.html
Once you have installed the program, right click on the file
you want to split, and one of the options will be "Split
this file"
You can chose what size files you want it split up into,
and if you are going to transfer the file to another
computer that doesn't have Split Files Shell Extension
installed, be sure to go to the options and select Automatic
merging. This will make the first file an executable program
that will merge the files together.
I have used several other file splitting programs, but this
is by far the easiest to use.
