A couple of replies have said you need third party software to
convert to FAT32, however in your original "Afternoon" post, you
say you have Windows 98 SE.
That version comes with a "Drive Converter (FAT32)" utility. Look
in Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools. After backing up
all important data, you can use that to convert from FAT to FAT32,
without losing any data, (unless something goes wrong, but that's
why you made backups).

This should have no effect on your Fatal Error messages though,
unless you are really low on free disk space.
