Only that the *.htm files are universal in nature, [cross platform
compatible with Mac, Unix or any other browser]. They are also quite easy
to create, do not need a special compiler and take up very little space on a
drive.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Help.hlp or Help.htm
|I would like to ask why HTML help files are suggested over compiled .HLP
|files. Whenever I attempt to open an .HTM file my system insists on
opening
|the browser. My browser is a slow loading multi-megabyte program. When I
|open a compiled .HLP file it opens emmediatly. Have I missed something in
|the conversation?
|
|Thanks in advance for your assistance.
