eg. go to www.simmtester.com, download DocMemory, it is free for personal
use, and can detect 95% of memory failure (so always run it mulip times to
get better result).

There are however, better program you can get, just do a search, a lot of
free memory test programs are excellent (I used to have a Linux RAM tester,
it can be run on windows PC once made a boot disk, I forgot the address).

There are also good paid-packages. (Norton utility is not a good tester
however)
