I'm helping a friend set up XP on his new P4 1.7 computer.

Trying to put new folder destinations into the Sendto folder, I've followed
the Sendto Wizard (according to the Help instructions) and created folder
shortcuts which appear OK in the Sendto folder. But these items don't
appear in the Sendto context menu (ie the right-click Sendto destinations).

Yet when we go back and reopen the Sendto folder, they appear there, as
shortcuts. Rebooting doesn't help, and I've tried drop n drag shortcuts
into the Sendto folder, doesn't make any difference.

I've "unhidden" hidden files. I've tried with 3 different folders.

Am I missing something? How can folder shortcuts be in the Sendto folder,
yet not appear in the context options? They are ordinary folders, eg
Program Files, Music, etc, not "special" ones.

There is no alternative administrators logon, it is a single-user computer
which boots direct to XP.
